How it works
The process
Each product we create reflects our client’s style and relationship, whether it’s a customised or bespoke design. The variety of details and features we offer means every wedding can be as unique and romantic as the couple themselves. Below you can read our process and start your design journey.
Before you start
Aim to order your invitations roughly 10 months before your wedding, and save the dates as far in advance as you wish. This gives us both plenty of time for design decisions and postage, it also covers any busy periods in our calendar. Depending on the size of your wedding, I suggest than you order around 10 extra invites. This covers any mistakes while addressing, extra unplanned guests or a few keepsake invites. Printing extra invites after your order can be expensive.
Step One
The first stage of our process is an enquiry. If you have a design already picked from our portfolio you can fill in our form (this can be found at the bottom of this page, just click, save & fill it out. Return to hello@laurareece.com) and I’ll get back to you within 2 working days. If you would like a bespoke design just drop me an email with any details you have and we will help guide you.
I love Pinterest and this is often a great way for you to explore your ideas and share with us any inspiration you have, be it flowers, venue, cake etc. If you require a sample this is the stage to order one, you can do this by simply emailing me at hello@laurareece.com
Step Two
I will then alter the design to fit your requirements and send you a PDF version of your design for you to approve. At this stage I aim to limit the time I spend on editing to ensure I can turn around your order as quickly as possible so if you do have any changes or questions take the time to collate these all together. Included in the price are two rounds of design changes (including spelling), any extra changes are charged at a small fee. I ask that you make sure every detail is perfect, design, spelling, date etc. Please double, triple, quadruple check the proof, even better get another person to check as well. Re-prints can be costly and unfortunately, I cannot take responsibility for errors I am unaware of.
Step Three
Once you have approved the design I require 75% of your total or full payment if you prefer. Once this has been received I can then print and assemble your order.
